More job seekers in Cebu open to overseas work, graveyard shifts
CEBU CITY, Philippines – A tighter and more competitive job market has pushed more job seekers in Cebu to consider working abroad or taking on graveyard shifts, according to new labor market data and insights from an online recruitment platform. Findings from MyNimo.com, based on more than 1,200 applicants for its upcoming Happy Jobs Fair 2026, showed clear shifts in job seeker behavior as workers adapt to evolving hiring demands and employment conditions.
