Search for Buried Treasure San Francisco City officials are getting really pissed off as hundreds of holes keep appearing all over the city and causing chaos . It is part of a frantic hunt for $10, 000 in buried treasure. Wouldn't happen here. Or would it? Remember the time, then PM Bill Skate, sent soldiers into the hills of New Ireland looking for Yamamoto's fabled buried gold. They never found it. So grab a shovel, maybe it's still there somewhere? Lions, Tigers and Bears. Those are the words of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Some years ago we were promised if we followed the yellow brick road out to 14 Mile we would get to see real lions, tigers and bears-although someone had to remind the Member there are no lions in China. It was to be the start of our very own zoo. Apparently, some Birds of Paradise went to China and we were supposed to get some cute , cuddly panda bears in exchange. Might have to shear them first -it gets pretty hot out there! But where did all those great ideas go? We got the plastic animals, Big Rooster, a carousel and a Ferris Wheel but no bears!
