Ex-Palawan town mayor hurt, wife dead in road mishap

Puerto Princesa City — A former Palawan mayor was injured, and his wife was killed in a vehicular accident at the zigzag road of South National Highway in Barangay Luzviminda around 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Luzviminda village chief Laddy Gemang, quoting one of the village councilors, said that a Nissan pickup belonging to former Rizal Mayor Nicolas Montaño was involved in an accident while traversing kilometer 35 of the highway.
