Man nabbed for allegedly trafficking victim to Cambodia scam hub

MANILA, Philippines — A man was arrested for allegedly trafficking his victim to a Cambodian scam hub, the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP CIDG) said on Tuesday. The suspect was taken into custody after his flight from Cambodia landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) early morning on Sunday, according to the CIDG in a statement. The police identified the suspect only by the alias “John,” a 28-year-old married resident of Los Baños, Laguna.
