Kenya's president defends planned U.S.-backed Ebola quarantine facility

NAIROBI, June 2 - Kenyan President William Ruto defended a planned U.S.-backed Ebola quarantine facility at a military air base in central Kenya, saying it was part of a wider national preparedness plan and a long-running health partnership with Washington.
