Heat index peaks at 46ºC in Camarines Sur on Monday, June 1

MANILA, Philippines — Despite the enhanced southwest monsoon, heat indices in several areas nationwide continued to reach dangerous levels on Monday, June 1, with CBSUA-Pili, Camarines Sur hitting 46ºC, the state weather bureau said.
