Netanyahu doubles down on threats to strike Beirut Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has doubled down on threats to bomb Lebanon's capital Beirut, adding that he has instructed troops to continue to deepen their invasion of southern Lebanon. "There will not be a situation in which Hezbollah attacks our cities and our citizens, and its terrorist headquarters in Beirut, in Dahiyeh, remains out of bounds," he said in a video posted on X captioned with "important update".
