Latvian media watchdog head steps down and enters politics

Ivars Āboliņš, chairman of the Latvian media watchdog National Electronic Mass Media Council (NEPLP), will step down from his position at NEPLP and become Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Culture (KM), he announced on social media.
