Samboan crash: Boy, 1, thrown off motorcycle, run over by bus, dies

CEBU CITY, Philippines — A 1-year-old boy died in a road accident in Barangay Bato, Samboan town in southern Cebu, on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at around 10:30 p.m. The child was with his parents, riding a motorcycle. His 36-year-old mother 36, was carrying him while his 40-year-old father was driving the motorcycle. They were residents of Barangay Magay in Compostela town in northern Cebu.
