Gatchalian to Senate: Explain reports of dela Rosa's escape

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian called on the new leadership of Senate President Alan Cayetano to explain to the public various reports that Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa has slipped out of the Senate building. “There are strong rumors circulating that Sen. Bato dela Rosa has already escaped. I strongly call on the Senate leadership, together with the sergeant-at-arms, to explain to the public whether these reports are true or not,” Gatchalian said in a statement on Thursday.
