MANILA, Philippines — Senator Risa Hontiveros on Thursday condemned the gun violence inside the Senate building Wednesday evening, saying some “bad faith actors” were politicizing the matter to protect a man who “simply doesn’t want to face the law.” “There is only one reason some bad faith actors are trying very hard to make this controversial event about other Minority senators and me, and the times we went home.
