What used to be the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal condition affecting 1 in 8 women around the world, is now called polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS). So what’s with the change in name? Researchers said the old name, PCOS, is inaccurate.
