First certified Bee farmers graduate at Masul Honey Training Centre
Simbu’s beekeeping industry marked a milestone on Friday, 29th May 2026, with the opening of the Masul Honey Training Centre and the graduation of its first batch of certified bee farmers. The new centre was launched in Tabare LLG, Sinasina Yongomugl District by Bussy Honey and Integrated Farming. The training centre cost K149,710 and was funded by the World Bank, the Department of Agriculture and Livestock (NDAL) and the Coffee Industry Corporation (CIC) under the PNG Agriculture Commercialisation and Diversification Project (PACD) Coffee Component.
