PNP disaster units on alert for Typhoon Domeng
MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine National Police (PNP) has placed its disaster response units on alert in anticipation of Typhoon Domeng’s impact on Northern Luzon, prompting preparations for possible evacuations and emergency operations. “Police offices in areas that may be affected by Domeng have been directed to remain on alert for its possible effects and to immediately respond to requests for assistance from the public in coordination with local government units (LGUs),” PNP Chief Gen.
