Nartatez welcomes high trust rating amid ongoing PNP reforms
MANILA — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. welcomed his high ranking in the latest “Boses ng Bayan” Index of Governance (IOG) nationwide survey, conducted by the RPMD Foundation Inc., which named him among the country’s top-rated government officials. Conducted from April 1 to 8, 2026, the survey of 5,000 respondents revealed that Nartatez secured a 78.8% overall governance score, backed by a 78.5% trust rating and a 79.1% performance rating.
