Police report identifies Senate gunfire suspect as NBI driver
MANILA, Philippines — A lone suspect linked to Wednesday night’s gunfire incident inside the Senate building was identified as a driver employed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), according to a Southern Police District (SPD) report released Thursday. The suspect, identified by the alias “Mel Oragon,” allegedly fired several shots using an undetermined firearm inside the Senate premises at around 7:50 p.m. on May 13.
