‘Shire’ or ‘Ayilor’ sold on Kumasi markets found contaminated with dangerously high lead levels

A recent study by scientists at the Soil Research Institute of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-SRI) has found geophagic clays sold on markets in Kumasi to contain dangerously high levels of heavy metals.
