SITUATION OVERVIEW • Cameroon is facing a neglected humanitarian crisis marked by overlapping emergencies: armed clashes between non-state armed groups (NSAGs) and state security forces in the Northwest and the Southwest Regions; NSAG insurgency and climate shocks in the Far North Region; and an influx of Central African Republic refugees in the Adamawa, East and North Regions. These emergencies have resulted in over 2.2 million forcibly displaced people, including 408,620 refugees, one million internally displaced people (IDPs) and 790,850 returnees.
