SMC: Boracay bridge project still on table amid opposition
MANILA, Philippines – San Miguel Corp. (SMC) said its proposed P7.78-billion Boracay Bridge remains under review as it continues consultations with local stakeholders. In a statement on Friday, the conglomerate said reports it had withdrawn stemmed from differing interpretations of a May 13 meeting between SMC Chairman and CEO Ramon Ang and Aklan officials.
