FMM urges tax relief as supply chain disruptions hit manufacturers [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) has called on the Finance Ministry to temporarily suspend import duties and sales taxes on critical raw materials, as manufacturers reroute sourcing away from disrupted Middle Eastern supply chains towards alternative markets including China, India and Asean countries.
