US dollar weakens on reports of US-Iran ceasefire deal

NEW YORK: The US dollar fell against major currencies on Thursday after reports the US and Iran had reached an agreement to extend a ceasefire, though several similar reports over the course of the three-month conflict have not resulted in an end to the war.
