CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — A false killer whale that had been stranded along the shoreline of Barangay Navotas in this city for nearly three days successfully returned to the sea, local authorities said on Friday. According to local responders, the marine mammal was transported to a deeper portion of the sea at around 1:40 a.m. on Friday, following continuous monitoring and rescue efforts since it was first discovered stranded on Wednesday.
