WHO confirms eight cases of Andes hantavirus in outbreak

GENEVA: Eight people infected in the hantavirus outbreak aboard the MV Hondius cruise ship have tested positive for the Andes virus, the only strain transmitted between humans, the World Health Organization said on Wednesday.
