Sabungeros case: Over 2,000 bones from Taal Lake examined — PNP

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police Forensic Group (PNP FG) has examined over 2,000 bones so far as part of the search for the remains of cockfighting aficionados (sabungeros) who were reportedly killed and thrown into Taal Lake in Batangas, the agency said on Thursday. Asked whether efforts to recover the sabungeros’ remains—which began last July—were continuing, PNP FG Director Col.
