Alcoy killing: Suspect allegedly stabbed woman, 19, over gas money
CEBU CITY, Philippines — The 42-year-old tricycle driver accused of killing of 19-year-old Jeani Pyrll Belardo in Alcoy town, Cebu, allegedly admitted to stabbing the victim because he got angry that it took her so long to give him gas money. In a Thursday, May 28 interview, Police Major Jose Nilo Abello said that the suspect denied sexually assaulting Belardo and instead claimed that he attacked her while they were inside his tricycle.
