Cops seize P1.45-M in meth, arrest 8 in Western Visayas drug bust

ILOILO CITY — Police authorities in Western Visayas confiscated approximately 214 grams of suspected meth and arrested eight drug suspects during a series of coordinated operations over 24 hours. The anti-illegal drug sweep, conducted by the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) starting at 6 a.m. on Friday, May 27, yielded a total of P1,455,200 in meth. Among the operations, the largest drug hauls were recorded in Iloilo City, Pavia, Iloilo, and San Jose, Antique.
