Trump says Iran has ‘no choice’ but to make a deal US President Donald Trump said Iran “thought they’d outwait me” in negotiations over a possible agreement with Washington. “They want to just make a deal,” Trump said. “I don’t think they have a choice.” Speaking ahead of a cabinet meeting at the White House, Trump reiterated that he believes Iranian leaders “want very much to make a deal”. “So far, they haven’t gotten there. We’re not satisfied with it, but we will be. We will be,” he told reporters. “Either that or we’ll have to finish the job.”
