PWD teen dies in house fire in Samboan

CEBU CITY, Philippines — A 15-year-old person with disability (PWD) died after being trapped inside his burning house in Sitio Calin-ay, Barangay Poblacion, Samboan town, on Tuesday afternoon, May 26, 2026. The victim was identified only as alias Ronel, a resident of the area. He was crippled and could not stand without the support of his parents. The victim was left alone inside their house when the incident happened, as his father was working as a helper at a construction site while his mother went to a neighbor’s house.
