Navy seizes P113-million in smuggled cigarettes in Basilan, Sulu

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur — The Philippine Navy’s Western Mindanao Naval Command (WMNC) and Naval Task Force 61 have foiled back-to-back smuggling attempts in Basilan and Sulu, confiscating over P113 million worth of undocumented foreign cigarettes in two days of intensified maritime patrols.
