PALARONG PAMBANSA: Central Visayas hauls 12 golds after Day 2 of hostilities

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Central Visayas has already amassed 12 gold medals after two days of competition in the ongoing Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur. As of this writing, the region’s gold haul stands at 12, with five coming from arnis, five from gymnastics, and two from athletics. However, based on the Department of Education’s (DepEd) partial and unofficial medal tally as of 1 p.m. on May 27, Central Visayas was listed with only three gold medals, along with seven silvers and five bronzes.
