Village exec slain in Zamboanga Sibugay

PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, Philippines — A barangay councilor was killed after he was ambushed by motorcycle-riding gunmen along the national highway in Barangay San Jose, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay, on Monday morning. Police identified the victim as Edison Magdamit of Barangay Gandiangan.
