Balik Eskwela: Officials prepare Cebu's bus terminals

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Cebu’s major bus terminals have stepped up security and passenger assistance measures ahead of the anticipated Balik Eskwela rush, with thousands of students expected to return to schools in the coming weeks. The Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) and Cebu North Bus Terminal (CNBT) have upgraded their surveillance systems and strengthened help desk operations to better accommodate the expected increase in travelers before classes open. Ahmed Cuizon, head of CSBT and CNBT, said that terminal personnel are preparing to assist incoming students.
