Foundation stone laid for 3.2 km section of BP Highway at Piple–Barkhekhola for two-lane expansion

Reconstruction of flood-damaged corridor with Japanese grant will begin after the monsoon, with completion targeted for December 2027. Work on the 27.3 km stretch is already underway.
