Member for Hiri-Koiari, Keith Iduhu, has challenged the Government over the exclusion of Central Province and its plant-site landowners from the newly approved board of the Broadened Equity Options Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). The SPV was established by National Executive Council (NEC) Decision 64/2026 on April 8 to manage the 4.27 per cent direct equity interest in the PNG LNG Project on behalf of impacted provincial governments and landowners, as originally agreed under the 2008 Kokopo Umbrella Benefit Sharing Agreement (UBSA).
