BFPNG president commends FIBA Oceania high-performance camp initiative

The President of the Basketball Federation of Papua New Guinea, David Peter, has acknowledged and thanked FIBA Oceania for hosting the High Performance Camp currently underway on the Gold Coast for Pacific Island nations. The high-performance camp on the Gold Coast started on Saturday, 23 May and will end on 28 May 2026. Prior to the travel, the PNG Olympic Committee had supported the Team PNG 3x3 women’s squad with the testing and trialling of the players at Taurama Aquatic and Indoor Centre and Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium.
