Coast Guard in Northern Luzon warns of rocket debris from China
TUGUEGARAO CITY — The Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (CGDNELZN) has imposed temporary maritime restrictions ahead of the scheduled launch of China’s Long March 7A rocket from Wenchang, Hainan, on Wednesday, May 28. The Philippine Coast Guard warned that rocket debris could fall within identified drop zones off Northern Luzon waters between 12:08 a.m. and 1:12 a.m. Philippine time. “Small craft and fishermen are urged to avoid the drop zones, keep clear of any debris, and report any sightings immediately,” the Coast Guard said in an advisory.
