Pilgrims pray on Mount Arafat as haj reaches peak

MOUNT ARAFAT: Huge numbers of Muslims prayed on Mount Arafat on Tuesday at the climax of the haj pilgrimage, as a punishing desert sun sent temperatures soaring towards 40C.
