‘More imagined than real’ rights violation – SC on Bato’s denied TRO bid

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa “has no clear and unmistakable right to be protected,” the Supreme Court (SC) said in its resolution denying a petition for a temporary restraining order against the senator’s potential arrest under the International Criminal Court (ICC). Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo led the nine justices who voted to deny the TRO.
