Tony Mitu Jr. has carved his name into Papua New Guinea’s sporting history books. The wushu athlete arrived at Jackson’s International Airport today, proudly sporting a historic bronze medal won at the Oceania International Invitational Wushu Championships in Brisbane, Australia. Mitu Jr. clinched the bronze yesterday in the highly competitive men’s 70kg Sanda (full-contact sparring) division during the tournament, which ran from May 21st to 25th.
