Jēkabpils' only bridge in poor condition

Residents of Jēkabpils are concerned about their ability to cross the Daugava River in the near future. The existing bridge has defects that could lead to weight restrictions on vehicles over time. Equally urgent is the need for a second bridge to reduce traffic congestion and ensure both daily and military mobility, LSM's Latgale editorial reports on May 25.
