‘Not my problem’ is no longer an option for the Minister of Water and Sanitation and the Eastern Cape Premier when it comes to a rural Eastern Cape water crisis. This comes after the Mthatha high court rejected their attempt to avoid responsibility for ensuring two Centane villages have access to potable water, after years without supply.
