Capitol creates rapid-response body to avoid delays during disasters

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — The Cebu Capitol has formed a rapid-response executive body designed to speed up disaster-related decisions and cut bureaucratic delays during emergencies. Governor Pamela Baricuatro signed Executive Order No. 30 on May 19, 2026, creating the Executive Committee (ExeCom) under the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC).
