This Situation Report provides an update on the cholera outbreak response in Borno State, Nigeria, covering the period from 1 to 14 May 2026. As of 14 May 2026, a cumulative 1,212 suspected cholera cases and 18 associated deaths had been reported across four LGAs, with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 1.5%. The report highlights ongoing surveillance, laboratory testing, case management, WASH, risk communication, and multisectoral coordination activities led by the Borno State Ministry of Health with support from Health Sector and WASH partners.
